My 2 week holiday :)

On monday we went to west wave pools.  we went because it was a HOT summer day.when we got to the pools we were going to pay for me and my sister but they said kids who are under age are free.

But it was an EVEN lucky day!.me and my sister.Mum,dad,little sister and i  got changed into our swimming togs.my sister was only 3 yrs old and i was 9 yrs old so i had to swim in the big kids side and 

She had to swim on the toddlers' side.west wave pools were so fun because when the waves come there's always a fire alarm that warns people to move in a safe place if they cannot swim.

When we were having 5 more mins at west waves pools I learnt some tricks which were back-flips,front-flips and even swimming like a fish.

After having 5 mins of  swimming we decided to get some  raspberry frozen coke at the cafe.

Oh and by the way  

The frozen coke tastes way better than McDonald and burger king.

 

Stardome trip!

Stardome trip
On Tuesday the 23rd of June hay park school went to Stardome.
While we were at school we got in groups with some of my friends' mum and our teacher's mum too. At 9:30 we went for a little walk to the bus with rm 2 and got on our seats.when we got

to the Stardome there was a  worker named Vanessa who was there to show us around and what to do.at Stardome the first thing was looking around and taking pictures for the class assembly on Thursday. After looking around, Vanessa told us to follow her into a room where we answered questions. We went  into the room for half an hour. It was really fun telling her our questions.after talking to Vanessa she gave us

Tablets so we can answer more questions on the tablet. While we were answering the questions on the tablet we looked around to explore where the answer was. After answering the tricky questions on the tablet we gave the tablets back.after that we went into a dark room with a big screen on top of the roof. We were watching rona getting carried by the moon


Because she swore at the moon and the moon was really angry but she had to tell rona her lesson. We also watched 3 brothers who lived in the dark for years until one day they decided to break their parents apart so they could see light and take revenge on their parents.

And the last part was learning about the Matariki. What I learned from stardom was that if you're trying to look for the Matariki you find stars that make a shape that leads you to 7 little stars that are shining bright in the night sky. That was the end of my stardom trip. It was fun and cool. I hope you enjoyed my stardom trip.

My mothers day Writing

 Mothers day 

On Mother’s Day  we got a call from my Aunt named Serra. She was just calling to say ‘would
like to come and play bingo for mother's day’? . Me and my mum were thinking about going
because of lockdown but we made our Decision. When we got there, some of my Cousins were
also playing bingo too.


I was  excited to go play bingo with my family  and play with my Cousins after bingo.
There was also food on the table. We had some potato salad and some KFC chicken,
takeaways, Fish, seaweed and some other island food. When we played bingo we had to be
quiet to hear the numbers that get called out.


When the number gets called out it's like you're doing a writing test (sort of).
When we finished our bingo, we had a break because our hands were tired of pressing 
on the paper. I went to go play with my cousin named Layla.


She also comes to the same school as me. We all talked and laughed. Some of my Aunts
were playing SKIP BO. It was a card game you can play with 6 people i think. After their
Game of SKIP BO we went safely back home and dropped off my cousin Princeton  that came to sleep over at my place. I hope you liked my Mother’s day.how did your one go out?
